What Is Modular?

Modular vs Custom Kitchen Cabinets

Modular kitchen cabinets are built around a set of standardized module widths — typically 300mm, 450mm, 600mm, 800mm, 900mm, and 1200mm. Rather than fabricating every cabinet box from scratch to unique dimensions, a modular system selects the right combination of modules to fill your kitchen layout.

This approach reduces fabrication time (fewer unique cuts), simplifies installation, and lowers cost — while still using the same marine plywood carcass, Blum hardware, and PVC laminate finishes as our fully custom work.

What Modular Includes

Upper wall cabinets: 720mm standard height, hanging on wall rails
Base cabinets: 720mm high with toe kick (80mm), sitting on adjustable legs
Corner solutions: Blind corner, L-corner with carousel, or magic corner unit
Tall cabinets: Full-height pantry tower (2100mm or 2400mm) for appliances or storage
