Entity Foundation
What Are Custom Kitchen Cabinets?
Custom kitchen cabinets are built-to-measure storage and workspace systems designed specifically for a kitchen's exact dimensions, layout, and requirements. Unlike modular or pre-made cabinets sold in standard sizes, custom kitchen cabinets are fabricated from scratch to fit your specific kitchen — maximizing every centimeter of available space.
In the Philippines, kitchen cabinets are typically composed of three zones: upper wall cabinets (hanging above the countertop), base cabinets (sitting on the floor), and tall cabinets (full-height pantry or appliance towers). Each zone requires different structural considerations, especially given the Philippines' high humidity and temperature ranges.
At CabinetMakerPH, every kitchen cabinet project starts with an on-site measurement visit, followed by a detailed 3D layout drawing and a full itemized quotation — before any fabrication begins.
Kitchen Cabinet Components Explained
- Carcass (Cabinet Box): The structural shell. We use 18mm marine plywood as standard — moisture-resistant, stronger than MDF, and built for Philippine humidity.
- Cabinet Door: The visible front panel. Options include PVC-wrapped MDF doors, solid wood doors, aluminum-frame glass doors, or handleless push-to-open systems.
- Hinges: We use Blum CLIP top hinges as standard — 165° opening angle, 100,000 cycle rating, self-closing with built-in damping.
- Drawer Slides: Blum TANDEM or Hafele undermount soft-close slides. No rattling, no sagging, no drawer drop.
- Countertop: Sold separately or as part of the package. Options: granite, quartz, solid surface, or budget laminate.
- Back Panel: 6mm moisture-sealed plywood or HDF with melamine lining. This is where cheap cabinets fail in Philippine kitchens — our backs are sealed on both sides.

Marine Plywood vs MDF: The Philippine Kitchen Reality
The Philippines averages 78% relative humidity year-round. In kitchens, humidity regularly exceeds 85% during cooking. MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) — the most common budget cabinet material — absorbs moisture, swells, and delaminates. Within 3–5 years, MDF cabinet carcasses in Philippine kitchens show visible swelling at the base and around sink areas.
Marine plywood is bonded with WBP (Weather and Boil Proof) phenol resin adhesive. It does not delaminate under sustained moisture exposure. It is the only carcass material we use as standard — at no price premium over MDF competitors, because we build for longevity, not just for the sale.

Why Choose Us
What Makes CabinetMakerPH Different
Marine Plywood — Always
Every carcass on every project. 18mm WBP-bonded marine plywood is our non-negotiable standard. No economy MDF tier. No material substitution after signing. The carcass in your contract is the carcass you receive.
Blum Hardware Standard
Blum CLIP top hinges (100,000-cycle rated) and Blum TANDEM soft-close slides on every project at every price tier. European-standard hardware is not a premium upgrade at CabinetMakerPH — it is what kitchen cabinets require.
Our Team Installs
CabinetMakerPH never subcontracts installation. The craftsmen who built your cabinets install them. This eliminates the accountability gap where fabricators blame installers and installers blame fabricators.
Written Itemized Quotes
Every line item is written in your quotation before you approve anything. No verbal quotes, no post-signing price adjustments, no "additional charges" surprises after installation.
Free Measurement Visit
We come to your home with a measuring tape and notepad. Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao — the measurement visit is free with no obligation. You pay nothing until you approve the full written quotation.
12-Month Warranty
All installed kitchen cabinets carry a 12-month structural warranty. Hinge misalignment, door warping, drawer slide failure — all corrected at no charge within the warranty period.
Common Questions
Kitchen Cabinet FAQ Philippines
How much do custom kitchen cabinets cost in the Philippines?
Custom kitchen cabinets in the Philippines cost ₱8,000 to ₱25,000 per linear meter, depending on materials and finish. Economy PVC laminate on marine plywood starts at ₱8,000/lm. Standard HPL wood grain runs ₱12,000–₱18,000/lm. Premium acrylic or handleless systems cost ₱18,000–₱25,000/lm. All tiers include marine plywood carcass, Blum hardware, and installation. What is the best material for kitchen cabinets in the Philippines?
Marine plywood (18mm, Grade A, WBP-bonded) is the best cabinet carcass material for Philippine kitchens. The Philippines averages 78% relative humidity year-round — in kitchens, this regularly exceeds 85% during cooking. MDF and particle board absorb moisture and delaminate within 3–5 years in these conditions. Marine plywood does not. Read the full materials guide →
What is a linear meter in kitchen cabinet pricing?
A linear meter (lm) in kitchen cabinet pricing refers to one meter of cabinet run along a wall, covering both upper wall cabinets and base floor cabinets in that meter. A 4-meter kitchen wall = 4 linear meters of cabinets. The per-lm price always covers both the upper and lower cabinet units for that wall section — not just one layer.
How long does kitchen cabinet installation take?
Installation takes 3–5 working days for a standard kitchen (3–5 linear meters). Larger kitchens with island units and custom features take 5–10 days. The full timeline from measurement to installation is 3–6 weeks, which includes 2–4 weeks of fabrication after design approval.
What is included in the kitchen cabinet price?
Always included: 18mm marine plywood carcass, cabinet doors, Blum hinges, soft-close drawer slides, interior shelves, toe kick panel, and installation. Not included (quoted separately): countertop (granite, quartz, laminate), kitchen sink, faucet, cabinet handles, backsplash tiles, and built-in appliances.
Is the measurement visit really free?
Yes — completely free with no obligation. We come to your home, measure the kitchen in full, and deliver a 3D layout drawing and complete itemized written quotation within 48 hours. No payment is required at any stage before you formally approve the project quote.
Do you serve areas outside Metro Manila?
Yes. CabinetMakerPH serves all Metro Manila cities, Metro Cebu (Cebu City, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu), and Davao City. Cebu pricing is approximately 10% lower than Metro Manila. Davao pricing is 10–15% lower. Measurement visits are free in all service areas.
Can I fully customize the cabinet design and layout?
Yes — all cabinets are custom-built to your exact dimensions and preferences. We offer 8 door style options (flat slab, shaker, raised panel, handleless, glass panel, grid glass, sliding, lift-up), 6 layout types (straight, L-shape, U-shape, island, galley, peninsula), and finishes including PVC laminate, HPL wood grain, matte HPL, and high-gloss acrylic.
